Video Beginners Start Here
If you're starting out in video, you may feel like the world has passed you by, like Rip Van Winkle waking up after a 20 year nap. While you may have missed a lot along the way, you're about to discover some pretty exciting new technologies.
First off, everything is digital now. That means it's all powered by computer technology. On the other hand, it may surprise you to learn that there is a ton of older analog (non-digital) video equipment still out there and in every-day use. Perhaps you came here because you inherited an old VHS camcorder and you want to learn how to use it. Well, the good news is that you actually can transfer sound and pictures from those analog tapes onto your computer, or even copy it to a DVD.
